MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Laney Brooks has a successful husband, two kids, a nice house and a stable place in society. She also has a pill problem, an alcohol problem, an adultery problem, a self-esteem problem and a deep-seated fear that she’s really not cut out for suburban life, and that everything about her existence is just one festering mistake after another. After sailing through rehab like a champ, Laney returns to normal life, convinced that she has conquered her demons. But her sunny skies darken almost immediately, because her flawed character is just as flawed as ever.
