KGSR and the Health Alliance For Austin Musicians (HAAM) started the ACL Festival today with a live morning show broadcast at Threadgill’s World HQ from 8 a.m.to noon. A $5 donation to HAAM gave access to 4 hours of live music and interviews with Night Terrors of 1927, Arum Rae, James Bay, Robert Ellis, Bleachers, Paolo Nutini and. The first hundred people were served breakfast Tacos.
Tomorrow the event repeats, and for the same $5 donation to HAAM another 4 hours are slated. The lineup starts early at 8:30 a.m. with Bernhoft, followed in order by The Nightowls, Jamestown Revival, Benjamin Booker, Lake Street Dive, Saints of Valory, and Lucius.
