What lengths will a writer go to for inspiration when she herself is a founder of the Great American Pitchfest & Screenwriting Conference (GAPF) in Los Angeles which encourages and promotes other writers? Signe Olynyk and producing partner Bob Schultz tell us how Signe arranged to have herself locked in a slaughterhouse freezer to fully experience the claustrophobic terror of her main character. Five days of isolation in the meat locker, and she emerged with a script. Together with her producing partner Bob Schultz, the Executive Director of GAPF for seven years, they tirelessly help promote writers while developing films via their production companies, Twilight Pictures, Inc. and Man In A Box Pictures, Inc., focusing on story and writer-driven scripts. Bob and Signe are currently producing the zombie thriller I-15, which Bob also wrote.
