COMEDY CELEBRATION BRINGING SOCIAL AWARENESS TO FEEDING AMERICA
Austin,TX March 9, 2014—Adam Pally (The Mindy Project, Happy Endings) hosted Yahoo Presents Comedy Gives Back (CGB Live) @SXSW, live from Yahoo’s Brazos Hall at SXSW on Sunday, March 9, at 10:30pm CT. Comedy Gives Back is the leading social benefit enterprise that brings together charitable organizations with top comedians, brands and social influencers for live stream events. The live show in Austin benefited Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity, and brought SXSW attendees an exclusive night of comedy, technology and philanthropy. The event will also featured top comedians Pete Holmes (The Pete Holmes Show), TJ Miller (How To Train Your Dragon) and Nate Bargatze (Conan). Adam Pally is a regular on Fox’s hit series The Mindy Project where he plays the role of Peter Prentice. He is also known for starring as Max Blum in the ABC comedy Happy Endings. He is a member of the sketch-comedy group Hot Sauce and has performed and taught at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. He co-founded a production team called Chubby Skinny Kids with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand.
